1965 HFMA formed with Maurice Hanssen as Chairman and Ken Rusby as Secretary
1968 Maurice Hanssen is voted President of the HFMA
1978 The HFMA Code of Advertising Practice (CAP) division is formed
1985 HFMA recommends Upper Safe Levels for vitamins and minerals
1995 Dame Barbara Cartland is the first recipient of HFMA Award of Honour
