Yvonne Bishop-Weston is one of the UK’s leading optimum nutritionists. An author, clinical nutrition consultant and former ION tutor, Yvonne holds private nutrition clinics in Harley Street, Surrey and Hampshire, and specialises in helping patients with a variety of conditions including fertility and pregnancy; stress and performance; weight loss; thyroid problems; digestive health; skin; hormonal health; and preventative health with bespoke nutritional therapy. Dr Adam Carey is a doctor, nutritionist and leading commentator on all areas of sports nutrition and human performance. Adam was Head of Nutrition for the England Rugby Football Union from 1999 to 2006, and performed a similar role for the England Cricket squad in 2005 and the Welsh Rugby Union to 2011. Adam also runs Corperformance that provide wellness programmes to large multinational organisations included BP, Lloyds TSB and Ineos.
Michael Dooley is an NHS Consultant Gynaecologist in Dorchester and Director of the Poundbury Clinic, a centre of excellence providing an integrated approach to women’s health. He is also Director of Poundbury Fertility based in London and Dorchester. Michael’s special interest is in reproductive endocrinology and he has particular expertise in infertility, menopause, premenstrual syndrome and sports gynaecology. He has attended two Olympic Games as British Team Doctor and recently led a tour to the Far East to look at an integrated approach to healthcare in China, as part of his work as Foundation Fellow for the Prince’s Foundation for Integrated Health. Michael is the author of ‘Your Change Your Choice’, an integrated approach to looking and feeling good through the menopause, and ‘Fit for Fertility’, an informative book offering comprehensive advice on overcoming infertility and preparing for pregnancy. Dr Marilyn Glenville PhD is the UK’s leading nutritionist specialising in women’s health. A registered member of the Nutrition Society, Fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine, psychologist, broadcaster and author of nine bestselling books, Marilyn has studied and practised nutrition for over 25 years. Marilyn is a popular international speaker on all aspects of women’s health, including menstruation, pregnancy and birth and the menopause, and is a regular media contributor both in the UK and abroad.
Jayney Goddard is President of the Complementary Medical Association – the world’s largest multi-disciplinary professional membership body for complementary medicine, and she is widely regarded as a leading expert on complementary medicine and natural healthcare. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, and winner of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Expo Award for Outstanding Contribution to Complementary Medicine, Jayney regularly lectures worldwide, as well as running a busy practice in London where she uses a range of complementary medical approaches.
Dr Rob Hicks is one of the UK’s most prominent and well-recognised media doctors. A practising GP, Rob qualified at St Mary’s Hospital, London and entered general practice in 1992. Today, he combines a committed medical practice with television and radio broadcasts and regular media commentary. In addition to his general medical expertise, Rob’s special interests encompass family health, sexual health, complementary therapy, nutrition and health promotion.
Patrick Holford is a leading spokesman on nutrition in the media, specialising in the field of mental health. He is author of 28 books, including the Optimum Nutrition Bible. He is Executive Director of the charitable Food for the Brain Foundation and Director of the Brain Bio Centre, the Foundation’s treatment centre for people with ADHD and autism, depression, dementia and schizophrenia. Patrick is also an Honorary Fellow of the British Association of Nutritional Therapy.
Michael McIntyre is Chairman of the European Herbal and Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association (EHTPA) and a former President of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists. Following qualification as a Western Herbalist in 1980, Michael studied Chinese Medicine at Nanjing University in China in 1982 and again in 1987. Michael has been practising as a herbalist and acupuncturist in his clinic in the Cotswolds for thirty years and writes, lectures and broadcasts on herbal medicine. He was a co-founder and editor of the European Journal of Herbal Medicine. Michael is a Doctor of Middlesex University where he is also a visiting Professor and a Fellow of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine. He is also a member of the British Acupuncture Council and a Fellow of the Prince of Wales Foundation for Integrated Health. His clinic is Midsummer Clinic in Oxfordshire.
